How to calculate your Student Contribution Amount:
Note: Internet Explorer is recommended when using the calculator.

1. Please select your commencement year
2. Enter your units SCA Band and Credit Points. You can enter up to eight different SCA and Credit Point combinations
3. Click on Calculate button
4. The total Credit Point, EFTSL and Tuition fee will be displayed on the screen.

A standard full time year of study is equivalent to 48 credit points or 1 EFTSL

Example:

Emma commences a Bachelor of Economics in 2007. In first year, eight units of equal weighting (0.125 EFTSL) comprise a standard full-time load (1.000 EFTSL). Emma enrols in five economics units and three arts units. Her student contribution amount (SCA) for 2007 is calculated as follows:

(5 x 0.125 = 0.625 x $7,118 (Band 2) = $4,448) + (3 x 0.125 = 0.375 x $4,996 (Band 1) = $1,873.00) = $6.322
